Our story began with a little girl, a loving mom, and a dream. Kristina Lavallee, the heart behind The Cake Girl, started baking with her mom in Puerto Rico, where she learned that the best recipes take time, patience, and a whole lot of heart.

After graduating from UCF with dual degrees in hospitality and food service management, Kristina took her passion on the road with a dessert truck—delighting crowds at farmers markets and festivals across Florida. But the dream kept growing, and in 2019, The Cake Girl bakery opened its first store in Tampa.

Today, we’re proud to be one of the best bakeries in Tampa, known for our creativity, community love, and bold flavors.
